Getting Married or Eloping at Summit Lake at Hatcher Pass in Alaska

A bride and groom share a moment beside a mountain lake with rocky slopes and patches of snow.

Hatcher Pass is a scenic mountain pass in Alaska, passing between two valleys. It’s known for its rugged alpine landscapes, winding roads, historic gold mining sites, + sweeping views.

The area feels wild + remote, offering a true glimpse into Alaska’s raw, untouched beauty.

If you’re visiting Summit Lake at the top of Hatcher Pass, I highly recommend a 4x4 vehicle as the terrain up is rocky, windy + very steep!
