The woman behind the lens

With over ten years of experience behind a professional camera,

my love for taking photos over time has only grown immensely! I started out as that friend that would carry around a point-and-shoot camera in middle and high school, documenting everything my friends and I did. Then, I was asked by my English teacher to join my high school’s yearbook staff, where I first learned how to work a professional DSLR camera. I was absolutely STOKED when I got my own from my parents as a gift in 2011! In 2013, I began college at Purdue University, and took some photos of my friends with my “fancy” camera from time to time. But, admittedly, it was never anything I took as seriously as I should’ve. I mean, I lived in a house with a ton of other young women…imagine the potential clientele there 🤣

After graduating college, I saw a ton of creatives in my area collaborating, making amazing artwork and posting it to Instagram. I wanted to reach out to local models to build a portfolio and gain more experience, but was just too shy to do so. The social aspect was super daunting to me! During the extraordinary mess that was 2020, I finally said screw it! And leapt for my first TFP photoshoot with a local model in November of that year. Since then, I have worked with literally hundreds of models in SO MANY states and gotten my work published in dozens of magazines across the globe!

Check out where I've been to see all of the places I’ve visited and photographed!
