Fast Food Made Fancy — Baby’s Breath + Burger Photoshoot

While scrolling on Instagram a few months ago, I was insanely inspired by a photoshoot posted by an incredibly talented photographer I follow named Amanda (@dreamily.portraits). The model was posing with fast food containers, with baby’s breath flowers (my absolute favorite!) coming out of the fast food wrappers (and even the food itself)! I thought this was an insanely creative and beautiful photoshoot, so I planned to create something inspired by Amanda’s work with my friend Kmya (@kmya.souza)!
We scoured our local areas for fast food restaurants with the cutest packaging, and quickly settled upon Checkers/Rally’s! The adorable black and white print, reminiscent of a local diner’s retro tile floor, gave the perfect balance of busy and balanced against the white backdrop we chose. I also purchased some fast food trays with another print reminiscent of vintage tile, this time in a red and white print. The red accents on the Checkers/Rally’s containers complemented the palette perfectly!

I included my white corinthian column from Hobby Lobby to add another layer of depth to the images. Kmya and I added baby’s breath to the inside of two plain hamburgers, two empty French fry containers, two soft drink cups/straws, and one extra paper bag from the fast food restaurant chain. I definitely encourage you to push the envelope with your creativity and to try a creative photoshoot like this! Just remember to credit your inspiration, in this instance: @dreamily.portraits :)
